Return and Refund Policy
At Thousandtearn we want you to be satisfied with every purchase. This policy explains how we accept returns and issue refunds for our garden lights, garden statues, and bird feeders sold within the United States. Please read carefully — we designed these rules to be fair to both customers and to protect delicate outdoor items during transport.
Basic Eligibility
- We accept returns within 30 days after delivery.
- Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all accessories and manuals.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless otherwise instructed (see “Damaged or Defective Items” below).
- We do not charge a restocking fee.
- We do not support exchanges. If you wish to replace an item, please return the original for a refund and place a new order.
How to Start a Return
- Email our support team at support@thoushaltearn.com with your order number, the item name, and a short reason for the return.
- Include photos if available (especially for items with fragile parts, glass lanterns, or visible damage).
- We will reply with a return authorization and the return mailing address or further instructions. Do not ship items before receiving return instructions.
Return Shipping & Packaging
To protect fragile garden decor (glass lanterns, acrylic feeders, delicate sculptures), please pack items securely—original packaging is preferred. For damage that occurs during return transit, we recommend using a carrier that provides tracking and insurance.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrived damaged or is defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@thoushaltearn.com with photos and your order number. In these cases we will:
- Provide instructions for the fastest resolution.
- Depending on the case, we may cover return shipping or approve a refund without requiring a return—our support team will confirm.
Inspection & Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process refunds to the original payment method. Refunds are issued within 2 business days of our inspection/approval. Please note:
- Shipping fees paid during the original purchase are non-refundable (unless the return was approved due to damage or error on our part).
- If the returned item is not in original, unused condition (for example, signs of installation, battery corrosion, or missing parts), we reserve the right to issue a partial refund or deny the return.
- For electronic items (e.g., Bird Feeder with Camera 1080P), ensure accessories (charging cables, mounts) and original packaging are included—missing components may reduce the refund amount.
Special Notes for Product Types
- Solar Lights & Lanterns: These include solar cells, batteries, and glass. Avoid activating or installing them if you intend to return; keep batteries and protective films in place when possible.
- Glass & Acrylic Bird Feeders: Handle and repack carefully. Breakage that occurs after delivery is the responsibility of the customer unless previously reported as damaged on arrival.
- Statues & Stakes: For items with soil stakes or succulents, remove any planted materials and clean before return.
Refund Method & Timeline
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method and processed within 2 business days after we approve your return. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
Partial Refunds & Exceptions
We may issue a partial refund if an item is returned with obvious signs of use, missing parts, or non-original packaging. Consumable components (e.g., batteries that have been used) are not eligible for refund.
